The way we look at people is key to building and promoting an inclusive environment. Looking at differences with respect creates an environment in which one feels valued. Celebrating differences fosters more creative and innovative ideas.
At CMS Latin America, we wanted to focus on how we seek to promote the values of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the legal sector in the region. Although we are aware that as a firm we still have a long way to go, we want to contribute to promoting the importance of a diverse and inclusive culture. For this reason, from the CMS Latin America offices we have worked together on various initiatives to promote our Dione+ space, which reflects the day-to-day inclusive actions of each one of us.
What is Dione+?
Dione+ represents our diversity, inclusion and equity project in CMS Latin America
Recognizing that we needed a name that would represent our culture and help us promote it, we contacted La Casa de Carlota Medellín, a neurodiverse communications agency, with which we worked on both the concept and design of Dione+. Their inclusive perspectives, diverse profiles and the conviction of the need to give voice to those who do not always have one helped us design this concept with which we recognize ourselves as a firm and with which we want to transfer our DEI values in the legal sector in Latin America.
