Our vision for an inclusive organization, which embraces gender equality and multiculturalism principles
What is diversity?
Diversity is differences in sex, gender identity, age, ethnicity, neurodiversity, education, physical appearance and religion.
Diversity, which is a defining aspect of multiculturalism, is a source of enrichment, as it fosters the dissemination of innovative ideas and solutions, which are inspired exactly by the varied experiences, abilities, sensitivities and skills possessed by the members of the organisation. For this reason, diversity needs to be safeguarded and fostered within Our organisational and management processes.
What is inclusion?
Inclusion is the active engagement of all members in all the diverse activities of the organisation. Full and effective inclusion entails that all members of the organisation should be allowed to share their ideas and beliefs openly and feel comfortable, including in the performance of their duties, without being concerned about any retaliation.
Inclusion shall be met through specific initiatives aimed at building and maintaining a work environment where every member is allowed to participate and contribute to the implementation of processes and activities. Inclusion requires that the participation and involvement of individuals with different backgrounds, knowledge and perspectives is acknowledged as a chance for enrichment.
