Carers UK
Our business has ambitions to better support employees with caring responsibilities. CMS are a member of Carers UK and all staff have access to the members’ platform that provides a range of online practical resources, tools and e-Learning to help support carers at CMS.
We also use UK Carers Week to raise awareness and recognise the huge contribution carers make. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness that people may be carers without realising and there may be more we can do as an employer to help support them.
International Men’s Day
International Men’s Day, supported by UNESCO, aims to improve gender relations, promoting gender equality and highlighting male role models. Our Families & Carers and Women networks mark the occasion by hosting internal events to focus on how our male colleagues are living and contributing to the inclusive culture we strive for at our firm. Past events have focused on parental/adoption leave, being a male partner and having a family, the importance of male role models and the related HR policies we have in place to support working families.
